An increasingly popular trend is through distribution. As a father, I catch ads for Baby Einstein on other children or family marketed DVDs’ previews. These are usually sister products packaged through the same distribution channel, a company that is itself related to the production company – and more importantly, the parent national conglomerate. Since the Entertainment Industry remains competitive through conglomerated oligopolies, its not uncommon for products such as Baby Einstein to use their parent company’s strategic channels for marketing as well as operations churn reduction.
