When my daughter was younger, she would sit in her swing and watch Baby Galileo. Not only was this a good way to help her relax, but me as well. It plays the song once upon a dream in it, and it’s very quiet and soothing. When you have a husband in Iraq, and a 3 month old baby, it’s a blessing to be able to snooze on the couch while she snoozes in her swing! I swear by it, and whenever a friend or relative has a new baby, they get a copy for a present!! I showed her some of the other Baby Einstein videos, but they never had the same affect. Baby Noah was our daughters favorite after about 1y/o. It’s all about animals, it’s so cute! She loved the puppets. The music is good in it too!
Well, we’ve only tried a couple, but my daughter loves Mozart, and so do I, haha.
The babies I nanny for really like Baby Mozart, and Baby Beethoven. The toddler I nanny for loves Baby Neptune. We put it on before he goes to bed to relax him. I would also suggest “Classical Baby: The Art Show” it is an HBO video series- he just adores it and it is wonderful.
My kids favorite is Baby MacDonald, they are both obsessed with the animals and music.
