Question by jessaMARIE.: Does Your Baby Like Baby Einstein Videos?
My daughter is 5 months old and I’ll put one on for her in the mornings. She’s been interested in them since she was 3-4 months old. People say they are not beneficial to babies development but i think it doesn’t hurt to expose the baby to the music and just to be entertained for a little. What do you think? Do your little ones enjoy them too?
thanks for sharing your stories
yeah my daughter will watch one video a day. She has a short attention span so im pretty surprised she pays attention to it that long. again thanks everyone <3

Nope, she could care less. I rarely (almost never) put her in front of the tv anyways.
We have the entire set…FIL bought them.
What do you think? Answer below!

My son did when he was a baby. He really enjoyed them. Sometimes he would go to sleep watching them. I was kind of amazed by them as well. I would catch myself staring at the colors and the shapes…HaHa!! But I see no problem with them as long as you don’t sit him in front of the TV 24/7. Which I am sure you aren’t going to do. I would let my almost 3 month old watch them now, but we don’t have a VCR and all the ones I have are on VHS.
YESS YESS YESSS. my son is 5months old too and he always watches. I think they’re beneficial they use big words and teach children about feelings and sharing anad what not. Plus they keep them entertained
i usually let him watch them in the morning or put him in his boucer and take a shower while he’s in my room watching (bathroom is in our rom (master bed/bath)
Only the Farm Animals one. All the others she could care less about. I don’t think a little TV hurts at all. The only thing that bothers me about Baby Einstein as opposed to other videos (she also loves Baby Babble 2) is that they have a repeat play function…so it could theoretically play over and over and over and you wind up ignoring the kid. Inevitably if I leave my daughter for my husband to watch…you can bet he uses that setting. I HATE it!
My twins LOVED them and they learned a lot from watching them. They learned sign language, shapes, and numbers 1-5. After I saw how much they were learning from them I started teaching them other things myself like colors, letters, etc.
My son on the other hand couldn’t care less. He would rather be playing with toys, watching his big sisters play, watching me do my thing… he just isn’t into it.
I think BE videos are harmless as long as they aren’t used as a substitute for human interaction all the time.
I have a ton that have been given to me and I’ve never put any of them on. I’m not sure if my son would like them. He’s kind of a busy body and has a short attention span and likes to move. I suppose I could try it though.
My son has no interest in them. I put one on for him one day thinking he might like it and it didn’t hold him attention at all. I tried it the first time at 6 months. He’s 9 1/2 months now and his only interest in TV is pulling up on the TV stand and banging his hands on it. He does get intrigued by Sponge Bob sometimes though, and loves the Bee Movie for some odd reason lol
I’ve shown it to my baby a few times when she was younger and once after her first birthday but no interest at all. The only thing she is interested in watching is Sesame Street. That is the only thing she truly enjoys watching and the only thing she would watch on TV. She gets so active with it and I can’t help but go along with it because it keeps her busy, keeps her happy and we have a good time singing along with the songs.
